Circle card

A few weeks ago I went to the local market and found some circle shaped cards. I have tried to make them myself many times before, but I failed. My spellbinders dies are too small and I have been trying to cut circle cards, but that didn't work out to... buying them seemes to be the most effective solution.

I made this card with ink and stamps and some little pieces of paper.

Something blue...

I love blue and I love paper. So these new papers got in my shopping basket before I knew it, lol...
I used it for a scrapbook page, but had some left overs for a great card. This is what I came up with:

An old card...

Weeks ago I had to make a card for my boyfriend's grandpa. Always hard to make a nice male card. But everybody on his birthday liked the card I made, so I think it's time to show you! Very easy and fun to make! You should try it!

I love brand new papers...

Some days I can't create something with my 'old' stuff... and let me tell you, I have lots of unused papers in stock. But working with brand new papers is always better, don't you think? So when I stopped by the local craft shop lately, I immediately found new inspiration by just looking at alle thos new colorfull papers...

These are a few cards I'd like to show you...

Mini book for my special friend

I was in the local scrap shop Simpel Scrappen two weeks ago, and there I found a lovely little mini book example made by Sonja Hillhorst. She was working in the shop and told me te example was on their blog. So I bought the base for this Maya Road mini book and went home. I wanted to make a cute mini book for one of my best friends' birthday. So I took some paint, some ink and stamps and created this one:

I really enjoyed scrapping again. I love mini book for they are ready in less than a day! (I know, I'm not much of a patient scrapper). Love how this little book turned out...

Ingrid Danvers weekend challenge 3

After a way too long period of non-blogging, I'd like to say: I'm back! Needed some time off to get new inspiration and even more important: new stuff to create with, lol....

So tuesday I spend some time online to find a great challenge. And you know what? I found one in Holland! One of my favorite designers Ingrid Danvers is challenging her blog visitors for she has 300.000 marks on her blog. Isn't that great? So she put 3 weekend challenges on her blog and I decided to join this one.

I love the soft color combination. To be honest I had a hard time finding scraps of paper in these colors. I don't often use soft pink, soft green and soft orange. A few hours later I came up with this card:
Not bad, I think.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
See you later this week?
